Induction of Cardinals in Rome
I expect that the hotels in Rome were full last month! Quite a number of People and media personalities from Houston made their way to the Eternal City for the ordination of the new Cardinals of the Catholic Church, in cluding Cardinal Di Nardo, the first Cardinal from Texas. People from all parts of the world were there to support the Cardinals from their regions as well, so Rome was full. I am not Catholic, so I was not drawn to the religious pilgrimage.
I would love to take a trip to Italy. But if I go, I will need several hotels in Italy. I would want get a room in one of the hotels in Milan and take a couple of days in the Leonardo Da Vinci Musuem. My wife would let me do that if I promised to reserve a room in one of the romantic hotels in Venice and promised to take her on a gondola ride!
