Moscow Ballet
I have been privileged to go to Minsk, Belarus on three occasions. On two of my trips I have been treated to an evening at the ballet in their grand theater, which is one of only two buildings in the city that were not destroyed in World War II. When I told my pre-teen granddaughter, she was green with envy.
She has gone each year for several now to see the annual performance of the nutcracker ballet in Houston around Christmas time. I just learned that the Moscow Ballet Troupe will be in Houston to perform the Nutcracker in the week following Christmas. I know what my grand daughter is going to get for a Christmas present from me!
