Baby Phat

Ten years ago not many people would have thought that the street word PHAT would become a widely accepted and used word, much less that it would be part of a phenomenally successful fashion brand! The idea of Kimora Lee Simmons has moved to not only the top brand for female hip hop performers, but also a lifestyle sportswear for a whole generation. What began with a line of tiny tees has mushroomed into a highly sought after complete fashion line, from Baby Phat Shoes to lingerie, handbags and more!

Acne is the bane of the teen years. But these days there is a good resource for young people and their parents as they learn to deal with, or even avoid having to deal with, the skin condition. Acne.com has a lot of information to help visitors understand more about the disease in its various forms. It can inform about the facts and burst a large number of myths that circulate around the condition.

There are discussions about methods of treatment and about the leading acne treatment products, including the popular Proactiv Solution. And for those that would like not to have to face the issue, preventative methods are also suggested on the web site!

Northern Trust

I vividly remember the first year I made $10,000. I thought it was a fortune. I could never have imagined the amount of money I have made over the past few years. Now as I am nearing retirement I am thinking about estate planning. i would like to have the same kind of expertise as the truly affluent folks do, so that my heirs are properly treated, especially the younger ones who are living with me and for whom I have assumed primary responsibility. Northern Trust has Guardianship services that are aimed to provide just the peace of mind I am seeking.

Paramedics

It takes a very special kind of person to be a first responder. Such a job requires people with great heart and passion for people but with a desire to help others, but with the ability to control his or her emotions so that what they see does not limit their ability to do the job as necessary. It requires a heart of courage so great that they are willing to undertake tasks that most of us shy away from and fear. These brave men and women deserve our respect and our gratitude for making our lives better, easier and safer!

Of course, they must be willing to undergo the training necessary to do the jobs. The National Paramedic Institute is on place where such training can be acquired on line. The Institute provides up to date courses for EMTs and Paramedics all in one place. Students can receive CPR AED training, the required training in bloodbourne pathogens and AIDS training, as well as recertification for ACLS and CPR. The streamed lectures of Dr. Bryan Bledsoe are all available right from your computer, making the National Paramedic Institute an easy choice for the place to get the e continuing education necessary.

Roller Blader!

We bought our eight year old grandson his pair of roller blades for Christmas. We were not sure he would like them, but he is an active boy and we wanted to give him a new skill to master. We are so pleased that every pretty day he is outside on the blades and is getting better and better. I just found Inline Planet on the web. I am going to show it to my grandson tonight. I will have to help him read the inline skating reviews, but he will surely want to see all the videos and other produsts that are available there!

International Calling Cards

Our middle daughter has been living in Singapore for more than fifteen years. In the past few years she has been spending more time in Shanghai, China. Beginning next week, she will be spending three months in Shanghai, then back to Singapore for three months before returning to Shanghai for the following three months. We will need to have phone cards that are functional for each location, and of course we would prefer for that to be the same card. Get Me Calling Cards.com is able to provide just what we need at very affordable rates.

Designer Handbags!

I am just becoming aware that I am out of touch with the fashion tastes of my grand daughter and those in their teen and young adult years. I always thought a purse or handbag just had to be the right color to be right. I did not know that designer handbags are a must. I am learning words like style and boldness, elegance, shapes and European design. I will have to keep in mind that chic and charming are important to young ladies, especially if I decide to buy my granddaughter a clutch. Heaven forbid that it not be an Italian designer who made it!

Windows

Through the process of remodeling home over the past year and a half, we have tried to use the best possible materials and products because we want everything to last throughout our retirement years. We installed new windows that have reduced the noise from outside and saved energy costs. They will also withstand blows from 150 mph hurricanes. Some had to be customized because not all the windows are a standard size.

In searching for window treatments for the new look windows, my wife looked at all the department stores, even the upscale ones. But she could not find what she wanted because of those odd size windows. She went to Blind Central Online, with their virtual showroom, and their experience of more than four decades. She was thrilled to find the that she could get discount custom blind that are top quality at a wonderful price. She loved the wide selection of styles and materials. She browsed through the mini blinds, the vertical blinds, the aluminum and the wood blinds. She truly appreciated the genuine service she received from the staff! They made her feel as if she was important as a person and a customer.

Real Estate Forum

Over the past few months I have been giving some thought to investing in some real estate. I had one specific aim in mind. I would like to find a piece of property within a short distance of where we now live that has some woods so I can take my grand sons to hunt a rabbit or a raccoon. I want them to have the same kinds of adventures I had with my grandfather. If the property has a stream or pond, all the better, so we can shoot turtle or snakes with BB guns. I have even gone so far as to call about one offering I read about in the Houston newspaper.

But I do not know the right questions to ask about property to be sure I do not pay too much or get too little in the transaction. I do not want to regret the investment. So I am interested in the real estate investment forum at Investors Lounge Online. They have several different levels of information, from those like me just beginning all the way to those who are really well versed in the market. You can learn about all aspects of investing, including investor psychology! Maybe I will learn enough to end up making enough money to pay for my little patch of woods!
